President Dilma congratulates the female volleyball team for their Olympic gold

Over the phone, President Dilma Rousseff congratulated the coach of the women?s volleyball team José Roberto Guimarães, as well as middle blocker Fabiana for the gold medal. Read the news release in full:
"It is with immense satisfaction that I and millions of Brazilians watched the gold medal match this afternoon, which ended with the women?s volleyball team second consecutive gold medal in the Olympics in London. I wanted to send my special regards to our athletes Sheila, Jaqueline, Fernanda Garay, Fabiana, Dani Lins, Thaisa, Fabi, Tandara, Paula Pequeno, Fernandinha, Natália and Adenizia, to head coach José Roberto Guimarães and his technical staff.
Our players showed how effort and dedication, even in the toughest moments, always pay off, with obstacles being conquered and objectives and dreams fulfilled. Congratulations to them for this achievement."
