Brazilian Judoka Mayra Aguiar won a bronze medal this Wednesday (02.08) in the 78kg (half-heavyweight) category in the London Olympic Games. Grant beneficiary of the Ministry of Sport since 2009, she recovered from her defeat to American Kayla Harrison in the semi-final and beat Dutch judoka Marhinde Verkerk with an Ippon throw, thus, guaranteeing a podium finish.
